PDW Social Event

For over half a century, the Association of Public Sector Information Professionals (DPI) has promoted the development of public sector professionals’ innovation in both Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT) in the Federal Government of Canada and other public sector jurisdictions.

This special event is being held on Wednesday, May 12, 2022.  Join us, enjoy light refreshments and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to meet other DPI affiliates and PDW delegates.

Choir! Choir! Choir! has sung with Tegan and Sara at the Junos, performed at a David Bowie tribute in New York, and have even taken to the Radio City Music Hall stage with Debbie Harry and The Flaming Lips. A collective led by creative directors Nobu Adilman and Daveed Goldman, the group has amassed a dedicated and passionate community of singers, along with a thriving international fan base on YouTube and beyond. Acclaimed for the ways in which the group brings music alive, its true importance may lie in something much more fundamental: it brings people -- of all walks of life -- together.

Founded in 2011, Choir! Choir! Choir! requires no auditions – everyone is welcome, and each week between a hundred and three hundred participants show up at a bar or concert hall, to sing and rehearse any number of pop songs (the Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows,” Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide,” and Toto’s “Africa” have been among the hundreds the group sings).

Daveed and Nobu share the choir’s story with audiences, explaining how being open can lead to great achievements, and how singing with one another can brings teams closer than ever.

In-person PDW Pass holders don't need to register.

All of our events are put on by public sector professionals for public service professionals, and in the spirit of maintaining and fostering an environment of respect, integrity, inclusivity and excellence, we support and abide by the principles of the Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector on all occasions.
