Sharing our experiences and lessons learned on how IBM can help our clients on their Journey to Cloud. Anuj will be sharing the importance of Strategy upfront and throughout the Cloud Journey as “Cloud Strategy Essentials”.

Speakers:

Hillery HunterHillery Hunter | Chief Technology Officer (CTO), IBM Cloud

Hillery is CTO of IBM Cloud, responsible for technical strategy for IBM's cloud-native and infrastructure offerings. Prior to this role, she served as Director of Accelerated Cognitive Infrastructure in IBM Research, leading a team doing cross-stack (hardware through software) optimization of AI workloads, producing productivity breakthroughs of 40x and greater which were transferred into IBM product offerings. Her technical interests have always been interdisciplinary, spanning from silicon technology through system software, and she has served in technical and leadership roles in memory technology, Systems for AI, and other areas. She is a member of the IBM Academy of Technology and was appointed as an IBM Fellow in 2017. Hillery is a BS, MS, and PhD graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

 


Patrick SpencerPatrick Spencer | Digital Strategy & IX Executive. Public Sector Leader, IBM

Patrick’s experience lies in helping clients turn their technology investments into strategic assets that increase productivity, reduce costs and create new revenue sources. His focused is on helping clients embrace and leverage digital technologies to disrupt their industries and transform customer experiences.

Prior to joining the IBM Canada team in early 2020, Patrick was IBM’s digital strategy leader across the Middle East and Africa.

 


Anuj Jaitly Anuj Jaitly | Partner - Client Partner, Canada

An experienced IT Executive and CIO Level Business Technology Management expert, with experience in planning for Business Alignment, Cloud/Digital Transformation Integration, Vendor and Outsourcing Management. He has more than 22 years of extensive experience contributing through cross-functional teams from the Front Line to the Boardroom.
