Women in Tech: Awareness to Action

Despite growing awareness of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) challenges women face in the tech industry, the deep knowledge and actions needed to create change are lagging. The key to making real progress lies in understanding women’s experience in tech, navigating key terminology, and learning how to apply the research. In this moderated discussion, we will cover what you need to know to get the essentials down as well as tactics for self-reflection and action.

Topics covered:

  • Key DEI terms
  • Examples of bias women experience in tech
  • Tactics to disrupt bias in oneself and others
  • Imposter syndrome

With our workforce becoming increasingly diverse, let’s come together this month to celebrate our differences. We will also reflect and discuss strategies that individuals or companies can implement in ensuring inclusivity in their workplace.
