Seminar Outline:

Become a Digital Advisor to your Department – It starts and ends with the Business!

Today you are just as likely to see “Blockchain” or “IoT” in an article in Forbes, or Government Executive as you are in Wired. Government Executives are driving toward digital, recognizing the importance of emerging technology to their mandate. While major transformation programs will be business-driven, Government IT Professionals will play a critical role if they can adapt to become Digital Advisors to the business.

Sharing real government transformation stories and translating between business and IT perspectives, this session will define the role of Digital Advisor, and why it’s critical for the future of Government.

Speakers:

Christiane Coda, Digital Advisor, Microsoft Canada

Christiane is a business and technology advisor with over twenty years of experience in Information Technology (IT) consulting, developing/facilitating envisioning workshops, and building business cases for clients. She works closely with organizations to build digital transformation roadmaps that include detailed phases, associated timelines and mechanisms to measure progress towards goals.

Pauline Martin, Government Solutions Executive, Microsoft Canada

Pauline is a Government Solutions executive who bridges the gap between government transformation opportunities, and the solution ecosystem (including IT) to deliver results.
