The evening includes presentations of the DPI Lifetime Affiliate and Fellow awards and the Chief Information Officer Community Awards by the Chief Information Officer of Canada.  The awards ceremony is followed by a Keynote Presentation.

This event is open only to DPI affiliates and invited guests.  DPI Affiliates can attend this dinner for FREE as the costs are covered by DPI.  There is limited seating for this event.

Awards

DPI Lifetime Affiliate Award

DPI depends on the time, energy, and hard work of our volunteers to plan, organize and deliver our programs and services. There are some who stand out, who are always there, ready and willing to help wherever and whenever needed. To recognize their outstanding commitment, we award them a lifetime affiliation. A general affiliate of DPI may be designated as a Lifetime Affiliate. This designation gives public recognition to those who have contributed to the advancement of the Association of Public Sector Information Professionals through service to the Association, promotional initiatives or program delivery. DPI Fellow Award

A current or former public sector employee may be designated as a Fellow of the Association of Public Sector Information Professionals. This designation recognizes those individuals who have contributed to the advancement of IM/IT in the public sector through services to the Association. Service to the Association can be defined as supporting the Association in some manner (i.e., advocating the Association, significant sponsorship, being a member of the Association’s committees, etc.) To see which individuals have been honoured as a Fellow, click here !

Registration

Registration will open March 9, 2020 and close April 24, 2020.

IMPORTANT: For those affiliates that registered March 2, 2020 when registration opened, we experience technical difficutlies and no registrations were recorded.  We have rescheduled registration to open March 9th so we can ensure it is functioning properly. Please register again at this time.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

As interest in our dinner has grown, our approach of offering seats on a first-come, first-served basis has become more and more challenging. Given the number of requests submitted only seconds apart, the process no longer seems fair: we are not able to accommodate the majority of requests submitted within minutes of opening registration for the dinner.

In an effort to make the process of offering seats fairer for all, we have decided to award seats through a lottery. All entries submitted by April 24, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. EDT will be entered into the lottery. We will select the winning entrants randomly and notify you by May 4th, 2020 if your name was drawn or not. All those that did not get a seat will remain on the waiting list. If people decline their seats another random draw will be held. To enter your name in the lottery, you must be a DPI affiliate.
