Workshop
Fast-Track Sovereign Service Design

Fast-Track Sovereign Service Design

Digital sovereignty is no longer just a policy discussion; it is an operational reality that affects how government services are designed, delivered, and controlled.

This practical session reframes sovereignty as a service design challenge rather than a compliance exercise. Participants will examine where control is maintained or lost across the service lifecycle and how design decisions can strengthen control over data, integrations, dependencies, and operations.

Participants will explore how to:

  • Identify sovereignty risks within enterprise services
  • Make critical dependencies more visible
  • Design services around value, outcomes, and operational control
  • Translate abstract risks into practical controls
  • Integrate governance, architecture, and procurement into service design

By the end of the session, participants will have a practical framework for evaluating sovereignty risk and improving control and flexibility within digital services. Participants will also receive a take-home workbook and relevant playbooks to help apply the concepts within their departments.
