The Power of Digital Accessibility

January 21, 10:00 am - 11:30 am ET

Free virtual seminar, open to DPI affiliates

Join us for an engaging and interactive seminar led by Nadine Charron and Luna Bengio from the Accessibility, Accommodation and Adaptive Computer Technology (AAACT) Centre. Designed for IT professionals across the Government of Canada, this session will explore the importance, benefits, and real-world impact of digital accessibility—and how every individual and organization can help make digital spaces more inclusive.

Through practical examples, and real user stories, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of what makes digital content accessible and why it matters—from both a human and compliance perspective. Discover how accessible design improves user experience for everyone, learn about the key frameworks guiding accessibility in the GC, and explore principles and mindsets that can help you embed inclusion into every digital project.

Whether you’re a developer, designer, or leader, this seminar will inspire you to see accessibility not as an add-on—but as a core part of digital excellence.
