In today’s fast-paced digital government, it’s a challenge to keep up with new technology, deliver results, and plan your next career move. This in-person workshop will help you do all three.
Join digital professionals from across the GC for an interactive session on career growth, mobility, and connection. Meet the Treasury Board of Canada’s Digital Talent and Leadership team — your go-to career support partner — and discover programs, learning opportunities, and tools to help you plan your next steps. They will lead us through a guided roundtable discussion built around the four pillars of the GC Digital Talent Strategy, Recruit, Develop, Enable, and Lead.
Leave with a clearer sense of direction, new professional relationships, and actionable ideas to shape your digital career journey.
Learning objectives:
- Leverage in-person networking: Actively connect with peers from other organizations and with the Digital Talent and Leadership team members to build professional relationships across the GC digital community
- Discover supports: Identify services, learning products, and career development opportunities available to support your growth
- Explore strategies: Consider mobility, upskilling, and professional presence strategies through peer discussions
- See the bigger picture: Understand how today’s activities connect to Canada’s Digital Ambition and government-wide priorities to grow digital capacity
- Shape future services: Share feedback and ideas to inform how Digital Talent and Leadership evolves programs and tools to address real community needs
- Leave with practical tools: Walk away with job aids, resource links, and at least one actionable next step for advancing your digital career
