Terraform training delivered by HashiCorp Canada

Central to the mandate of DPI is ensuring that our affiliates have access to a range of opportunities for professional development. We are excited to be able to work in partnership with HashiCorp Canada and deliver to you an in-person, hands-on, and in-depth training session focused on HashiCorp Terraform, an infrastructure-as-code solution that has been widely adopted by public sector organizations at all levels of government.
This session will be led by senior solutions engineers from HashiCorp Canada and topics to be covered include:
- Terraform Enterprise fundamentals
- VCS integration
- policy enforcement
- remote state operations
- security and RBAC
- cloud spend cost controls
- module constructs
- the Terraform API

Registration and Requirements
Space is limited and registration requires a public sector email address. Registration for this session is free and separate from other DPI events running on February 27th.
In order to participate, all you need is a WiFi enabled laptop. Previous experience with HashiCorp Terraform is good to have but not required.
Note: The mentoring sessions and seminar scheduled for the morning of February 27 require a separate registration which is available here.
Certification
After the session, all attendees will receive a unique access code that will allow you to register for the Terraform Associate Certification Exam. The exam fee has kindly been waived by HashiCorp Canada. The access code is unique to each individual attendee and will be valid for 6 months.
