Zineb Maddi - Executive Director, Employment and Social Development Canada
Zineb Maddi is a bilingual Executive Director with over 23 years of experience in Business and IT across both public and private sectors. She excels in leading transformative projects within the Government of Canada, focusing on driving technology adoption, optimizing service delivery, and implementing process redesigns and software solutions. Renowned for her strategic insight, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to mobilize diverse teams, Zineb is committed to delivering impactful and cost-effective improvements to government services. She holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS) and Polytechnique Montréal, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering. Zineb is also a distinguished recipient of the Government of Canada CIOC Award for Excellence in Project Management.
Andrew Pettinger - Senior Director, Partnerships, Planning, and Digital Resource Management, Digital Services Branch, Environment and Climate Change Canada
Andrew Pettinger is a strategic digital enabler with a passion for bridging the gap between clients and technology. Holding an economics degree from the University of Ottawa, Andrew transitioned into the digital space after spending over 10 years working on business transformation. He recently led the delivery of a complex digital transformation at Correctional Service Canada for five years and is currently responsible for leading the business relationship management, business analysis, and digital resource management functions at Environment and Climate Change Canada in the Digital Services Branch. With a focus on making technology more accessible and empowering business, Andrew ensures strategic alignment to drive impactful results and foster collaboration.

Agile in Action: A Hands-on Introduction to Agile Values and Principles by the Agile Centre of Excellence
Are you interested in developing your Agile Mindset? Join us as we dive into the world of Agile through this engaging and interactive workshop. This unique workshop combines practical activities to provide a comprehensive understanding of Agile Values and Principles. Participants will explore the Agile mindset in a fun, creative environment, fostering collaboration and continuous learning. Ideal for those new to Agile and experienced Agilists alike.

Leah O'Reilly | Certified Agile Coach
Leah O'Reilly is a Certified Agile Coach and one of the founding members of the Agile Centre of Excellence at Fisheries and Oceans Canada (previously Transport Canada). Leah brings a strong background in client-centric service and change management that she leverages in guiding teams and individuals through their own unique agile journeys. Leah is also actively involved in advocating and supporting agile transformation at the organizational level.
Trained in Agile and Scrum fundamentals, as well as the roles of Scrum Master and Product Owner, Leah now trains others across DFO and the GoC. If you have participated in one of her training or community events, you know that she brings a passion and conviction to each of her sessions!
Leah is excited to facilitate the upcoming DPI workshop on Agile, in order to share her knowledge and to continue to build the Agile community within the GoC!
Lynn Ashworth | Certified Agile Coach
Lynn Ashworth is an experienced and certified Agile Coach and Scrum Master, having worked in those roles for several years in the GoC and the video game industry.
Lynn's high empathy and comprehension of culture, derived from her academic background in Cultural Anthropology, enables her to understand the organizational and individual systems at play. and where the culture influences beliefs and behaviours. This allows her to work closely with individuals in their agile journeys as well as understand and speak to the challenges an organization faces with this change.
Lynn is an avid student, holding multiple certificates in agility, she is always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow and has enabled her to mature her perspectives in human-centric design and how agility supports it.
In joining the Agile Centre of Excellence, Lynn brings her passion for agility through engagements, training and in our many communities of practice. She is excited to facilitate in the upcoming DPI agile workshop.
